Grace Christian University is a Christian college in the pre-millennial, dispensational tradition. Its education programs emphasize the integration of biblical truth, ministry experience and character transformation. This emphasis pervades the entire campus as the University strives to cultivate a caring learning community where Jesus Christ is exalted and students are equipped for serving the needs of church and society.
Grace Christian University was founded as Milwaukee Bible Institute, a training center for laymen and Sunday School teachers of Milwaukee. The curriculum was broadened in 1953, and the school became Milwaukee Bible College. The University moved to Grand Rapids in 1961 and was renamed Grace Bible College. In July of 2018 it was changed to Grace Christian University.
The University offers 15 different undergraduate degree programs including a range of business, education, human services and ministry majors. Each degree program consists of three major components: general education courses, biblical and theological studies, and a vocational major. Adult and online education programs are offered in addition to traditional full-time academic schedules.
Grace Christian University has a total undergraduate enrollment of roughly 200 students. The student-faculty ratio is 16:1.
The University fields men's and women's basketball, soccer, cross-country and tennis teams; men's golf and women's volleyball teams; and various intramural teams.
